Search Operators

Before the commands, lets start with the basics.

  • If you want to search for an exact phase, enclose it with quotation marks: "[keywords]".
  • If you want to definitely include a keyword, add a plus sign just before the keyword: +[keyword]
  • To exclude a keyword from the search, add a minus sign just before the keyword: -[keyword]

Search Commands

site:[url]

To search within a specific website, use the "site:" command.

cache:[url]

To load the last cached content of the website, use "cache:"  command.

related:[url]

To find websites related to a specific website, use "related:"  command.

filetype:[extension]

To search for specific file types, use "filetype:" command.

loc:[location]

To search for sites in a specific location, use "loc:" command.

inurl:[keywords]

To find web pages with specific words in the URL, use the "inurl:" command.

intitle:[keywords]

To find web pages with specific words in the title, use the "intitle:" command.

intext:[keywords]

To find web pages with specific words in the body text, use the "intext:" command.
